About Me

Dr. Bryan Colon is a Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist, a distinction held by only 1 in 4,153 (0.024%) physical therapists in the U.S. He is the founder of Peak Potential Sports Performance and Rehab in San Antonio, Texas. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from St. Augustine University in 2021 and completed a Sports Residency at the University of Incarnate Word (2023–2024), where he served as the physical therapist for Football, Men's Basketball, Softball, Cross Country, and Track and Field.

He then became the lead sports physical therapist for the UIW Team Surgeon, directing lower extremity rehabilitation and developing the ACL protocol and Return to Sport testing. After working in both outpatient and collegiate settings, Dr. Colon saw the value of true one-on-one care and created Peak Potential to deliver it.

Every plan begins with uncovering the true root cause, not a one-size-fits-all protocol. Whether you're recovering post-operatively, dealing with lingering pain, or chasing the next level in sports performance, that standard never changes. Dr. Colon works with athletes from middle school to the professional ranks, as well as active adults, helping each one get back to the activities they love pain-free and reach their Peak Potential.
